This is very atmospheric, mkaes me think of an old movie:)
Another piece that seems very narrative...it's like a photograph. Who is she? Does she live in a rented room? Why? I love the questions that arise as I look at this, and I love where those questions take my imagination. What wonderful art you create!

Like an old movie still, a Film Noir. I totally dig the mysterious mood, the sulky rain and the woman whose fate we don´t know. There is a same sense of abandonment about her than about your earlier piece for dance. Do they belong to one story?
I love this! Also agree with Sweet Pea and Carla, the first thought I had was of an old movie...hmm, were you thinking of one of the many old films you like to watch as you drew it? It does make your imagination wonder, where has she been and where is she going? What has she been up to on this dark, rainy night?
You are a truly talented artist Sis! Wish I had half your creativity when it comes to drawing!

Hey, I missed this one and the 'dance' one below... Where the heck have I been? Up til last week work and family were both way hectic. Really like the texture you got on both of these... great for setting the mood behind these pieces.

I must have missed this back in June. It has such a mysterious mood to it and I'm curious about her story. Makes for great illustration!!

really, really good....made me think of many different reasons why a young woman might be climbing those steps....wow...I would have never guessed the talent about you...you should share this with more people in your city and neighborhood....
