Janet, this is hilarious! I feel for that poor robot. He is a good example of that robots have feelings, too. Look at those shaking knees and the panic in his eyes. I hope he makes it!

Either I am too giddy from lack of sleep or this absolutely perfect. The drawing makes me want more...I'm flashing back to The Turk by B.Kliban!

Great robot - it must be a hard life when you are marked out so clearly... very good allegory.

Oh I can see all sorts of things in those walls ;-)

As always, your pencil work is wonderful! I love the scene - an escaped robot scavenging for "food." Great interpretation!

What everybody else says, plus: the black and white of the drawing and the tempting glimpse of what appears to be a vintage car, makes it look like a scene from a 1950's sci-fi movie!

haha this is great on so many levels!!! with the whole oil thing it is quite relevant, now even the robots rely on oil, boy we are in big trouble. This is so well done Janet! I love the wonderful moody quality that you and your pencil exude. The robot looks desparate but harmless. The scene looks like an old movie or photo a place i would like to go. I love this!!!

Your renegade robot is funny and very dramatic in this noir piece. Pies left cooling on window sills are safe in this instance. Great contrasty image.
