Val, these have been safely tucked in the cubbyholes of my pendulum clock for years. When I went to take them out to draw, I dropped one of the saucers and shattered it. Kinda put a damper on the sketching!

What a compliment from a little boy! Love all the patterning ... hope the saucer can be somewhat repaired ... at least you have a beautiful drawing of it!

Everything about this is fine and lovely! In the larger picture, I get a feeling of fabric in the placemat - it seems to have dimension and thickness. The colors and the swirls are so wonderful. The teacup and saucer have great stippled shading, and the little flowers really look as if they've been painted on porcelain. Sooo pretty, Janet:>

I really like the patterns you've created here. The rendering for the tea set is great. Nice to see you posting again.

What a cool gesture. This is very 'tea' in feeling. Look forward to your insect this week.

Love the colors and patterns in this. Sorry you about the saucer fatality. I can't remember any gifts from 3rd grade chums. I do remember the boy who threw a hard right cross into my tummy for no reason in Kindergarten. And my mother who told me "he likes you." I'm amazed I didn't marry Blue Beard.
