I like this one a lot...not only because it is great artwork but perhaps because it reminds my of a childhood memory of people and places long since gone.

(Am I right?)

This one really needs to be enlarged to be appreciated. Perfect atmosphere for this idea. Nice work!

Janet, you have really outdone yourself here. Love the over the door lighting and the moody, gritty feel here. Is this from your mind or does it exist? Great work!!!

Great mood piece. The little, and shady, tattoo parlor around the corner. Thanks for dropping by my non-post on the topic. Didn't mean to be negative... Shoulda visited the reg'lars, like you, for some inspiration. Just didn't have time for serious blogging (and blog-visiting).

Wow I'd be amazed to hear how you did this, it looks like an etching. It has a really beautiful quality.

Oh Janet! This is so wonderful!! What detail -- even on the telephone pole! I love the light shining on the entrance to the door and the tatoo neon-sign in the window and the garbage cans. Amazing. I feel like I've walked down that same sidewalk before.

Jesus, Janet! Does one have to do one's own tattoo now?
Closed, for how long!

You know, at first glance I thought the door was a huge spray can and you were referring to a "wall-tattoo", aka a graffiti. On a closer look I am fascinated by the right, there seems to be another window, perhaps inhabited by strange tattooed folks? A great, mysterious drawing!

The dark dark lonely tattoo parlor -- quite a contrast from all those lit up with hip folks and their glowing primitive tats.

Nice dark quiet mood.

And thanks for visiting, I felt the same way about that door in Breakthrough.

Oh this is haunting - especially as near me a tattoo place was recently the scene of a rather nasty attack... (it was personal, we don't get many attacks around here...)

Wow.... this is great! So dark & dank, just as getting a tattoo should be, natch!

I really love this. Makes me want to go be BAD, smoke & play pool for money $$$$$

Smooch,
The Tart
